Loving Oscar Peters was the first son born to John Clark Peters, and Charlotte Foreman Peters. He was also born in Oak Bowery, Alabama. He went to the 6th grade. I have very fond memories of him. He was very tall, slender, and had silky hair. He was a Veteran of World War I. He married Mary Rosa Johnson on October 2, 1918 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. I do recall that he lived for many years in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Mary Rosa (Johnson) Peters, and died and was buried there in Birmingham. He worked there in the Steel Mills and as a coal miner at Mary Lee Mines in Birmingham. Oscar was 79 years old when he died.
