Beatrice R. Coley (John)

Beatrice R. “Bea” Coley is the family historian for the Peters Family.  She is married to John E.  Coley.   She is the daughter of the late Isaac H. Scott, Jr., and the late Randell Gunn Scott.     Her father, Isaac H. Scott, Jr. was the son of Novella Peters Scott and Isaac Scott, Sr.   This made her the granddaughter of the late Harold “Hal” and Ida Cody Peters.

Beatrice has done extensive work (spanning over 30 years) on the family history and genealogy.   “Bea’s” research has included collecting relevant documents, as well as DNA testing.   Her knowledge of the history of this family runs deep, as well as being inspirational when you listen to her narrate the facts of our family’s history.
