General Peters (dc) Family Tree

Spread the love

On July 4, 2017, Ms. Olivia Peters Holden posted this comment under our “Peters Genealogy” Page.

“My father is General Peters, born in Danway (near Opelika Ala. My mother is Mary Fannie Barrow Peters. My siblings are Willie R. Peters, Charlotte Peters Lewis, Zilphia Peters Brooks, Joann Peters Fields, and myself Olivia Peters Holden.

I have a niece who resides in Opelika her name is Juanita Peters

Slaughter and is the Peters historian. She is older but has keep more records of everyone. She is the daughter of Ellis Peters.”

Based on the information Ms. Holden left, I attempted to construct a family tree for her family. However, the tree is currently disconnected from the “main” family tree.

The reason I am currently using (dc) in parenthesis after General’s name is because I have not yet been able to connect him to the main family tree.

I wasn’t sure how to connect him, but once we have complete information, we can connect him to the main tree. So, for now, we have his family but they are somewhat isolated right now. I am guessing that they may be the offspring of the first General Peters, however, at the present time, the record does not show a son with the name “General” although it is very easy to figure that this was probably a son or grandson of General Peters Jim and Joanna Peters’ son.

Ms. Juanita Peters Slaughter, nor her father, Mr. Ellis Peters are showing up on this family tree right now, because I was not sure how to connect them. We need to hear back from Ms. Holden, to learn how to connect all the dots so we can make Ms. Slaughter show up on the family tree.

PLEASE HELP US!!

NOTE: For ease of viewing the family trees, if your mouse is equipped with a scroller wheel, you can use it to enlarge the view of the family trees. Be sure that your mouse’s pointer is ON the container (box) where the tree is displayed. THIS WILL BE EASIER ON THE EYES FOR US OLD FOLKS!
