James McKenzie “Kenzie” Frieson
His family affectionately calls him “Kenzie.” His grandmother Charlotte, named him “James” because it is a beautiful biblical name.
James is a rising Junior at Handley High school in Roanoke, Alabama, where he has previously played basketball. He successfully went out for both Varsity Basketball and Football, but at the last minute, decided that he was “tired” of playing sports.
So, after spending a lifetime as a basketball player, he’s taking a year off. If all goes well, James will graduate with the Class of 2017.
