Ynez Clements Gilmer (Ralph Gilmer)
Ynez Clements Gilmer is the daughter of Samuel George Clements and Aldonia Peters Clements of Chicago, Illinois. She is another of our family historians who has researched and written about the Peters family history.
Ynez has shared that she researched the white (Caucasian) side of the Peters Family, and has related the history from the European migration to America. Ynez is very knowledgeable about the origins of the name “Peters” and how it came to be, as well as why some of the family members have European skin-color, eyes, hair and facial features, which plagued her throughout her childhood.
