Myrtis Hall Robinson

Myrtis Hall Robinson, was the oldest daughter of the late Susie “Sweetie” Peters Hall and Frank Hall, Sr.

She was married to the late McConnell Robinson.

McConnell and Myrtis had the following children: Alfonza Bernard Robinson (wife Mary Jean), Carolyn Jennings, Donald Dwight Robinson (deceased), Deborah Robinson Dick, Yolanda Robinson Flowers (husband Curtis Flowers, Sr.).

According to two of her children, Carolyn and Deborah, she was one multi-talented lady!!  Her girls said she was a woman who was probably just before her time.  She could literally look at a dress, and then go home and make it.   She could make the pattern OUT OF NEWSPAPER, then make the garment, using the old style sewing machines you pedal.

Carolyn said:  “Other children were envious of us, because we dressed so well….  If our mother had only had the opportunity, there’s no telling what she could have become with all of her talents.”

Not only could she sew, she could cook, she could sing.  She just had talent.
