Mose Barrow
Mose Barrow was the husband of Doshia Peters Barrow. Together they had 11 children… They resided in Anniston, Alabama, although he, too was from Oak Bowery.
He was born March 24, 1890 in Alabama. The 1910 Census for Oak Bowery shows Mose in the household with his older brother, Arthur. In 1910 Mose was 21 years old living in Oak Bowery with his brother Arthur (22), who was head of the household. Also in the home was their: FATHER?: Jonlaw (77); MOTHER: Frances (60); SISTER: Margie (34).
At sometime he married Doshia Peters (also of Oak Bowery).
He had 11 children with Doshia Peters. By 1930, the Census records showed that Mose Barrow was 39 years old and lived in Anniston, Alabama with his wife, Doshia, 3 sons, and 4 daughters.
Ten years later, on April 1, 1940, Mose Barrow was 50 years old and lived in Anniston, Alabama with his wife, Docia (sp), 2 sons, and 5 daughters. The 1945 Anniston City Directory showed the Barrows still in Anniston, Alabama.
He died on March 9, of 1966 at the age of 75 in Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama.
