Sweed Peters appears to be the seventh (7th) last Georgia-Born son of Jim Peters.  He was born in Harris County, Georgia around 1869. It appears from the record that this was the last child born to this couple in Georgia.   The remaining three (5) children [Carrie, Eliza, and Willie, Ida and Seabon] were born in Alabama.

By 1900, Sweed had married Caroline (aka “Carrie”) and moved his family to Cusseta.   According to the oral history of Sweed, he worked on the railroad.     Sweed and “Carrie” had the following children:  Jimmy Peters, Cora Peters,  Neta Peters,  Adelia B. Peters, Martha J. Peters,  Susie “Sweetie” Peters,  Joe N. Peters  and finally  Ada Peters,

Sweed passed away ou October 28, 1938 at the age of 69.
