James Harlin Peters was the third son of Jim and Joanna. He was born around 1863 also in some part of Georgia. There was so much confusion about his year of birth… Poor thing didn’t know how old he was or what year he was born in.  The record shows that James had two (2) wives. The first one was Ella Pinson Morris, and the second wife was Pearl. He had one child with Ella, and two girls by Pearl. All were girls.

James McKenzie “Kenzie” Frieson is the now, 18-year-old son of Je’Lynn Mikele Frieson.  He is the grandson of Charlotte A. Clark-Frieson and Clarence Frieson, Jr.

His family affectionately calls him “Kenzie.”  His grandmother Charlotte, named him “James” because it is a beautiful biblical name.

James is a rising Junior at Handley High school in Roanoke, Alabama, where he has previously played basketball.  He successfully went out for both Varsity Basketball and Football, but at the last minute, decided that he was “tired” of playing sports.

So, after spending a lifetime as a basketball player, he’s taking a year off.  If all goes well, James will graduate with the Class of 2017.
