Seabon Peters, Jr. [Born: Dec. 25, 1919 – Died: Dec. 21, 1941 ] was the son of Seabon and Cora (Summers) Peters.

By 1940 he was 19 years of age.   At this time, (1940) Seabon, Jr. was living in house with a woman named Evelena Pollard (his cousin).   In the home with her was her daughter, her son, a boarder, niece and cousin (Seabon, Jr.).  I really wondered why Seabon left home and was boarding with someone else?  Do you suppose it could have been that evil STEP-MOTHER?

Sadly, a couple of years after that, Seabon died  in Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama.  He was buried,  December 25, 1941 (on his birthday),  in Hobson City, Alabama.    He was only 22 at the time of his death.  According to Census Records, Seabon, Jr. was a common laborer.   The record shows his father was Seabon Peters;  mother was Cora Summers; and he was married to his spouse, Hallie Peters.

Son Of Preston and Charlotte Peters. He was born around 1895. I located him in the 1910 Census, I found “Lottie” (50) living in Opelika, Alabama with her father, Gabriel (74) and mother Narcis (62). There were also two (2) grandsons in this home, Wilbert and Chester. (Only on the Census record the names are shown as “Peterson”). At this time, Lottie stated on the Census report that she was widowed, which means that Preston had probably died.

Jessie (1885-1958) was married to Ethel M. Peters Colvard. The record shows they had two children, a son and a daughter Hoyt and Jeraldine. He died in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 19, 1958.
